My second grandchild, Dallin Sun Wing Chan has turned 7 years old! He is such a special little light in my life. I have called him my "fortune cookie" since he was born. He was so tiny and had a hard time learning to thrive at the beginning. Now he has taken off and is an energetic, brilliant, kind, quiet, giggly, talented and sensitive boy. His big brown eyes will melt your heart if you aren't careful. Dallin is learning to play the piano this year and has amazing little hands on the keyboard. I love to watch him play his songs. We have had some good time together in the last couple of months, and I can't wait till Christmas to see him again! Happy Birthday, Dallin. I love you so very much.

Something you'll be happy to know about...I told Dallin that he wasn't allowed to make his bed on his birthday or he'd get spanked (a tradition of yours/ours!)....he replied, "I never make my bed anyway!" Smarty pants. He is a great kid....with a very yucky, wiggle tooth!
I still remember when you and I went to San Jose together after Dallin was born. He was SO tiny...trying every day to put on an ounce at a time! Remember his little "o" mouth? He sure is a smart, talented boy...then again, ALL of your grandchildren are ABOVE AVERAGE!
This picture of him is one of my all time favorites of any of the grandkids. He looks so handsome.
