That was a favorite line of my sweet Dad, Leo Christensen, who passed away on Sunday, December 6, to be with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Heaven is a happier place this week. One of God's most precious sons has arrived home. He was so many things to me. He was a peacemaker and a man without guile. I never heard him complain. He loved all mankind. He was a missionary and a testimony giver. He was the hardest working man I ever knew.He was the best Dad in the world, and he loved me, his baby daughter. I hope he is watching over me and knows how very much I love him. How great to know that I will see him again.
Here is a quote from a friend of ours about Dad....Thanks, Gerry.
"He was certainly the most consistently and completely benign man I've ever met. That this continued into his years of diminished cognition is a testament to its authenticity. A simple and kind man who loved and was loved by his family, doing the best he knew how in a world that wasn't always what we might have hoped for... we can all take a lesson from this life well lived."
